Mein Backhus in Stralsund

Always friendly and taking my accompanied dog was never a problem. Large assortment but not too overloaded. Even if my son gets bread there, he is always nice, friendly and courteous, which is unfortunately not the rule. We like to go shopping there.

Lovely place to have a snack and to enjoy a coffee

Unfortunately I have to get rid of criticism today. It was not too crowded today, late in the morning, to do well with two employees. The counter was well stocked, everything looked very tasty, if only it hadn't been for this rudeness. One was strongly advised not to sit down in the next best, free place, it still has to be disinfected, so far, so good. Then when we placed our order, each of us got a slip of paper that we had to fill out immediately. The coffee crema was unfortunately quite strong, but the gratin was quite tasty, the tables were sticky from the disinfectant and the shop assistants gossiped about the customers. From the outside it actually looks quite cozy, but the cool atmosphere, which other customers also noticed, put an end to our coffee break quickly.

Delicious breakfast, not cheap but still worthwhile. Nice to be able to put together breakfast as well.

Friendly service, delicious breakfast and coffee! With omelette + fish rolls + coffee + tea we were then at 15 euros. Already expensive, but to be expected given the location.

I was at the Backhus at 8:00 this morning with my brother. A very unfriendly saleswoman has obviously tried to riot us several times. We ordered a piece of butter cake (which were pre-cut in the usual size and marked for € 3.75 each) whereupon she first pretended not to understand us 3 times and therefore failed and then sixthed one of these pieces and packed one of these sixths with the comment “Well, that's a piece”. When we pointed out that this seemed strange to us and that we would therefore take another piece (for her again sixth), she reacted annoyed. She also commented badly on our further order. In the end, she gave us a price that was € 2 higher than that on the small, easy-to-miss ad. When I asked if she didn't mean the price on the ad, she only said that she would have named it, which my brother and I unanimously denied. I pointed out to the woman that she was so unfriendly that we would never enter this Backhus again, which she only acknowledged with a frown. To make matters worse, I have to add that the cake and the pretzel are okay, but the only difference between our rolls and those from the discounter is the price (€ 0.38).

Delicious as you know it and great location

I can't say whether the coffee or the cake (we ate poppy seed rolls) was good or bad. If it was bad then I would surely remember. We went to the Backhus rather because of my wife's joke (look, you can't really write Backhaus here?) That was really just meant funny and that's why we entered. For us it was normal until then, the ladies behind the counter were friendly and I know that we had a friendly conversation (we said a plate for both snails is ok ?) Unfortunately, all of these businesses are certainly suffering from the Corona requirements. I do not want to report here about the sense and nonsense of these requirements. We sat down at a fancy table and found the style of the interior to be modern but not too sterile. My hands were rough because of the disinfectant and I put some cream on them. I took off my wedding ring and we ate the poppy seed rolls. 6 hours later, back home in Görlitz, I noticed that my wedding ring was gone. After a moment's thought, I knew where I took it off, but at first I didn't know what the café was called. After a long search on the Internet, I remembered my wife's saying (Backhus without "a"). I called there. My ring was found and first secured. They immediately agreed to send the ring to me by post and insured. The employees didn't even want the postage for the post or a small thank you in the form of a finder's reward. So only in this way I can express my heartfelt thanks and promise, when I come back to Stralsund, to thank you again personally for so much honesty and friendliness. This ring means a lot more, 35 years of happy marriage. Many thanks

Very friendly staff, unlike the competition card payment possible

The topped tomato mozzarella bread that I bought here at 9:30 a.m. was super old. The bread slices were super dry and the topping was unsightly. It was so unsavory that I couldn't eat it. I cannot recommend the baker.

Cake and coffee taste good. Price range normal. Nice space. Unfortunately self-service, with the furniture style I would have expected it differently.

Sovereign prices, food (cakes, sandwiches, small pizzas) delicious, service a bit stressed but still friendly. Very nice and appealing ambience.

We wanted to eat breakfast and we were told very unfriendly that there was actually no breakfast anymore. When I asked if it was still possible, my teeth were clenched and we were "allowed" to buy breakfast. Actually, I was about to leave, but then we ate here because we were full of Hubger. The sound makes the music and this treatment doesn't work at all.

Cozy baker. No matter if cake, bread / rolls or breakfast in the shop - everything was very tasty. Nice service, price-performance ratio is right & you have a beautiful view of the Ossenreyer through the large windows. Always happy.

The employees are very rude. There is no explanation for the breakfast menu. There are cards on the tables. Juice cannot be exchanged for coffee. This is a different product group. I then left, so I can't say anything about the actual products.

Very well. 5min from the harbor. Everything delicious.

... mmmmmh .... finally espresso not from the coffee machine, hot schoki delicious and not too sweet sugar I have not seen anyway and that's good as well ... Setup creative and individual ... s.der service had I have nothing to complain about ... friendlier than the weather

Prices are "budget type", food eas tasty, cakes were not the first freshness but I didnt care. I was hungry and ate all. Thx.
